We are so excited to be participating in this year’s Festival of “Fostering” Trees.
This fun filled community event will be held from November 24th – November 28th at Foster’s Clambake, 5 Axholme Road in York and is open daily from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. Admission is FREE!
The Festival of Fostering Trees is a magical display of Christmas trees donated by local businesses, individuals, families…anyone can enter a tree. All trees are available for raffle with all proceeds benefitting older youth (18+), aging out of the Maine foster care system. The funds provide multiple initiatives, support, and guidance to these young people.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 for 25 tickets – CASH ONLY.
This is a festive, joyful, community event for a great cause. We hope to see you there!

We would like to send out a HUGE thank you to all of the family, friends, colleagues, and community that came out in the bitter cold to support our first ever Lasagna Dinner to benefit the Food Pantry.
So happy to say that we raised $812.00, collected bags and boxes of non-perishables, and thanks to the Knitting Group at The Yarn Sellar, we had a big box of scarves to donate as well.
We would also like to thank Rick’s Restaurant for co-sponsoring the event and for doing all the hard work. Thank you Veronica, Bree, and Maryann! Finally thank you to everyone that volunteered their time to make it a success. Can’t wait to do it again!

The focus is on teens ages 13 and up. A list of items provided by the York County Council Toys For Tots Campaign includes:
Games, Coloring Sets, Save Kits/Beauty Kits, Phone Charging Kits, Selfie Sticks, Fishing Poles, Sporting goods, Sequin Pillows, Fleece Blankets, Books, Tools, Car Safety Kits, Makeup Kits, Photo Display Sets, Slime Kits, Speakers, Curling Irons, Stylers, Spa Sets, Nail Sets, Skateboards, Fidget Spinners, Body Sprays, Lotions, Shampoo, Soaps, Razors, Shaving Cream, Flashlights, Hair Accessories, Brushes, Key Rings, Lip Balm.
For ages 10-13:
Skateboards, Legos, Bionicles, Minecraft, Transformers, Nerf, Ninja Turtles, Crafts, Fidget Spinners.
Drop off anytime Monday through Friday from 9:00 - 5:00 and weekends
10:00 - 2:00. Items must be received by 5:00 PM on December 7, 2017.
